Bad News for Playboy Club Fans (and Non-Fans)

Rock Center, Brian Williams' primetime transition from NBC Nightly News anchorman to newsmangazine emcee, debuts later this month. Bad news for all of you non-fans of NBC's

just canceled nighttime "historisoap" The Playboy Club, which was deemed too pornographic because of what Twentieth Century Fox Television told the Parents Television Council there was enough sexual content in each episode of the program; however; Comcast/NBC and News Corporation executives said there are no plans to broadcast the remaining seven 60-minute editions of TPC in the near future.
